Solemn hearing
A solemn hearing took place at the Court on 26 January 2018, in the course of which Guido Raimondi, President of the Court, and Koen Lenaerts, President of the Court of Justice of the European Union, addressed representatives from the highest courts of the Council of Europe member States and from local, national and international authorities.

To mark the opening of the judicial year 2018, a seminar was held on the topic "The authority of the judiciary", attended by Presidents of the Supreme and Constitutional Courts of the Council of Europe member States and numerous senior judicial figures.
