Solemn hearing
A solemn hearing took place at the Court on 27 January 2017, during which Guido Raimondi, President of the Court, and Silvia Alejandra Fernández de Gurmendi, President of the International Criminal Court, addressed an audience of about 350, including many representatives of the judicial world and local and national authorities.

To mark the opening of the judicial year 2017, some 300 senior judicial figures from across Europe took part in a seminar on "Non-refoulement as a principle of international law and the role of the judiciary in its implementation".
