Solemn hearing
A solemn hearing took place at the Court on 25 January 2013. During the solemn hearing, Dean Spielmann, President of the Court, Christiane Taubira, Minister of Justice of France, and Theodor Meron, President of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, addressed an audience of about 300, including many representatives of judicial institutions and local and national authorities.

Seminar
A judicial seminar on "Implementing the European Convention on Human Rights in times of economic crisis" took place on 25 January 2013, at which one hundred and fifty eminent figures from the European judicial scene were present.
