On 20 November 2025, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Ministry of Justice of the United Kingdom, Jake Richards, visited the Court where he was received by Court President Mattias Guyomar. The judge elected in respect of the UK, Hugh Mercer, and the Court’s Deputy Registrar, Abel Campos, also attended the meeting. Mr Richards affirmed the UK’s commitment to the Convention system and the Court.
