On 14 November 2025, the Vice-President of the Court and judge elected in respect of Norway, Arnfinn Bårdsen, attended the meeting of the Ministers' Deputies, during which Malta, the outgoing Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, handed over the Presidency to the Republic of Moldova, which assumes this role today.

Accompanied by Deputy Registrar Abel Campos, the Vice-President also attended the inauguration of a tram decorated in the colours of the Republic of Moldova, as well as a flag-raising ceremony held at Strasbourg’s Place de la République.
