On 26 March 2026, Michel Forst, UN Special Rapporteur on Environmental Defenders under the Aarhus Convention, paid a visit to the Court, where he met with President Mattias Guyomar. During the meeting, they discussed the Court’s case-law on environmental matters in particular focusing on freedom of expression and freedom of assembly.
