Speaking at the annual press conference of the Court on 29 January 2015, President Spielmann took stock of the year 2014 and described the situation generally as satisfactory. President Spielmann took stock of 2014 and reported that the Court's activity had continued the positive momentum of 2013. He also stressed the need for each member state to ensure that endemic problems are resolved at national level rather than being brought before the Court.
