On 13 November 2025, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander received the President of the Court, Mattias Guyomar, and the Judge elected in respect of the Netherlands, Jolien Schukking, in audience at Huis ten Bosch Palace in the Netherlands. During his visit to The Hague, the Court President will also participate in the colloquium of the Network of Presidents of the Supreme Judicial Courts of the European Union, where he will address two topics: the contribution of the European Court of Human Rights to the rule of law, and the impact of social media on court communication and its influence on judicial independence.

During his visit to The Hague, the Court President with Judge Schukking also visited the Dutch Council of State, where they were welcomed by Rosa Uylenburg, President of its Administrative Jurisdiction Division.
