A farmers’ demonstration is planned in Strasbourg’s European District on Tuesday 20 January 2026 and Wednesday 21 January 2026. The court building will be accessible exclusively on foot. Traffic disruption and restricted access for cars and public transport are expected around the Council of Europe buildings, including the Human Rights Building.

Visitors to the Court, including those scheduled to attend the hearing in the case of Kuijt v. the Netherlands on 21 January, are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow additional travel time. Please take into account the traffic and parking measures or prohibitions in place (municipal decree), as well as the information provided by CTS regarding the impact of the demonstration on its network.

Traffic will be prohibited on the following streets from Tuesday 20 January 2026 at 6 and/or 8 a.m. until Wednesday 21 January 2026 at 8 p.m.:
- Allée René Cassin
- Allée des droits de l'homme
- Avenue de l'Europe
- Allée de la Robertsau, between Avenue de l'Europe and Boulevard de la Dordogne
- Quai du Bassin de l'Ill
- Rue Sforza

Parking will be prohibited and considered a nuisance from Monday 19 January 2026 at 10 p.m. to Wednesday 21 January 2026 at 9 p.m., in all areas marked by signs on the streets listed below: 
- Rue Pierre de Coubertin
- Allée René Cassin
- Allée des droits de l'homme
- Avenue de l'Europe, including the car park bordering the Orangerie park
- Rue Sforza
- Allée de la Robertsau, between Avenue de l'Europe and Boulevard de la Dordogne.
