On 20 January 2026, a delegation from the French Conseil d’État began a two day visit to the Court. During the visit, the delegation met with the President of the Court, Mattias Guyomar, Sébastien Biancheri, judge elected in respect of Monaco, as well as members of the Registry of the Court to discuss the procedure before the Court and its case-law. They also had the opportunity to meet with a representative of the Council of Europe’s department for the Execution of judgments of the Court and will attend the Grand Chamber hearing in the case of Kuijt v. the Netherlands tomorrow.
