On 3 June 2025 the President of the Court, Mattias Guyomar, took part in the opening session of a conference to mark the 40th anniversary of MEDEL, a European association of judges and public prosecutors. The event was held under the auspices of the Maltese Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. President Guyomar delivered a speech on the occasion.
