On 11 March 2026, the President of the Court, Mattias Guyomar, met with Wojciech Wiewiórowski, the European Data Protection Supervisor (“EDPS”), at the premises of the Court in Strasbourg. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy to the Registrar, Klaudiusz Ryngielewicz. 

The discussions focused on the importance of synergy in matters of data protection.

The Court President provided an overview of the Convention case-law on this topic.
