On 9 May, the Court, alongside other institutions and organisations, celebrated Europe Day by participating in the European Kermesse organised by the City of Strasbourg and the Eurométropole at Place du Château in Strasbourg, as part of the month long Fête de l’Europe.

Court staff engaged with visitors and presented the work of the Court, explaining how its rulings impact their daily lives. Visitors also had the opportunity to create drawings and take photos at the Court’s stand while enjoying the day’s rich programme.

The Registrar of the Court, Marialena Tsirli, was also present at the stand, engaging with staff and visitors, reaffirming the Court’s commitment to public engagement. She also exchanged with the Mayor of Strasbourg, Catherine Trautmann, who visited the Court’s stand.
