Court President meets Slovakian State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs

On 23 September 2026 in Strasbourg, the President of the Court, Mattias Guyomar, accompanied by Abel Campos, Deputy Registrar, met with Marek Eštok, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic. The meeting focused on the Court’s achievements in reducing its backlog of cases, the Slovak Republic’s support of the Court, and the nomination of candidates to the post of judge before the Court.
