On 9 September 2026, the President of the Court, Mattias Guyomar, attended the ceremonial opening of the judicial year at the French Conseil d’ État. Before being elected judge in respect of France at the European Court, President Guyomar served as President of the 10th Chamber of the Judicial Division of the Conseil d’ État.
