On account of the COVID-19 pandemic, some hearings may be held by video-conference, by decision of the President of the Grand Chamber or the relevant Chamber.

The Grand Chamber of 17 judges hears cases referred to it either after relinquishment of jurisdiction by a Chamber or when a request for referral has been accepted.
