Superior Courts Network
The overall aim of the SCN is to enrich dialogue and the implementation of the Convention.
The more concrete operational objective is to create a practical and useful means of exchanging relevant information on Convention case-law and related matters.
The President of the ECHR has entrusted the management of the SCN to the Jurisconsult of the ECHR.
The SCN welcomes the superior courts from the United Kingdom: the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, the Supreme Courts of Scotland (Court of Session and High Court of Justiciary), the Court of Appeal in Northern Ireland and the Court of Appeal of England and Wales, which brings the membership of the SCN to 86 courts from 39 States....
